price to fix 2nd?

hm. someone wants to trade me for a pretty stock prelude. Has an act extreme clutch and a few little bolt ons. he has no second gear though.. said he ripped it out.

I was wondering how much that would cost to fix?

anyone have any idea?

Can't really say until the trans is removed, opened, & inspected. Then you'll need to order parts, that aren't cheap, wait til them come, & finally rebuild/install. Easier to get a used or rebuilt trans & throw that in.

If 2nd gear is gone, that one means one thing. The car was beat to shit by someone who doesn't know how to drive. Stay away from it.
