price for 2nd gen transmition?
I'm looking into buying an '86 Prelude that needs a new trany. The rest of the car is in great shape. If i can afford to have a new trany put in, then i will probably buy the car. The Lude is a Red 5spd Si, and the guy is asking $300 for it. I've been eying this car for a while, and he was originally asking a lot more for it. It says the ad that it will cost from $600 to $1300 for a new trany, does that sound accurate?? Thanks

That sounds about right. Labor might be a bit extra.
