rebuilt engine costs

i need help finding how much parts cost to rebuild and engine?
what happened is on one of my rods the bearing went out so i need to know what i will need to put this back together. like will it be cheaper to rebuild or buy a knew stock engine. also i saw a d15b on hmotorsonline.com and i was think ing about getting that instead. what would i need to install this in my car? any hints, comments, and even a lil sarcasm would be appreciated thanks

It would be pretty expensive to rebuild it. I'm about to do an H22 swap in my Civic and I'm selling my D15b w/ tranny. It has a DC 4-2-1 header, ported and polished head, Gude cam, NGK sparkplug wires, and I'll give you the DC short shifter w/ Razo shift knob if you want it.

i had a perfectly new b16 that i was putting new parts into, but my work has kept me from building the motor in any sane amount of time, my local machine shop is charging me around $600, for the full build.
