92 Accord Dashboard Lights, running lights out
I have a 92 Accord EX Coupe with 287,000 miles. Very few problems. Dashboard lights, lights behind the stereo buttons and running lights just went out. Headlights, brakelights, turnsignals and road hazard lights all work on command. Replaced 15amp "small light fuse" and 7.5amp "Day Lights" fuse. No go. Recommendations? I ordered a Haynes and Chilton manual. Waiting for delivery. In the meantime...has anyone solved this same problem?
Stillriding -- but at night can't see speedo, tach, etc. and from behind drivers can't see me. |

Instrument Panel lights out
Specifically, the taillights, side marker lights, position lights, license plate lights and instrument panel lights do not illuminate with the headlight switch in first position or second position. The taillights, side marker lights and position lights work when using turn signals and or during braking (also the proper lights work when using emergency lights). The lights simply do not light on their own when the light wand is in poition one or position two. The instrumnet panel lights never illuminate. All of these lightsfailed at the same time. Replacing "small light" fuse with GOOD did not fix.

I have the same problem! My dashboard lights have gone out and it seems the the running lights are out as well. If you have solved this problem, please let me know what I can do.

Problem Resolved
I did fix this problem. The light switch (on the light wand) on the steering shaft had failed. I had my mechanic replaced the light switch. Seems like it was just over a hundred dollars.

Re: 92 Accord Dashboard Lights, running lights out
Hey I have a 1990 Accord, had that problem with mine a couple of months ago, mine ended up being the illuminater switch(the little thingy that you turn up the brightness of the lights) cost me $90 so just call your local Honda dealer and tell them the problem and they will pretty much tell you the same thing, but do that before you shell out $90 just so I dont have anyone mad at me
