HI,
I am from australia and have a 94 VTiR prelude and have seen some plug in chips available on e-bay that claim to increase hp. Has anyone bought any of these and do they work? The ones i have seen are between $10-$50 US. OR has anyone got something different that they vouch for? cheers. |

I wouldn't put any generic chip in my car. I doubt some $10 chip will give you an increase in hp.

apparently they are designed specifically for a prelude and give "up to 20 hp". If someoine has tried it and they work, it is worth 50 bucks for a couple of months till i can install an aftermarket ecu and book it in for tuning.
Obviously not going to use it as a long term performance enhancer given the power increase isn't particularly big anyway. |

I bought a $20 chip off ebay for my civics ecu and absolutely love it. The only chips ive seen on ebay are for the h22 ecu, or the resistors that you can put in the iat sensor wire(which are very gay). I'd be interested in chips for the h23 though....
