Guess what I found at the junkyard today!

Ok, I went to the junkyard today with my g/f to get a wing window for my bronco. And as we are pulling in a crx is being unloaded off of a trailor, the thing looks beat as hell. I just walk by thinking nothing of it really, and continue to get my window and turn signals for my truck.

Well I decide to go check it out anyway and to my disbelief, there is another wrecked crx next to it as well! As I get closer, I noticed BOTH are SI's!!!! I can't believe my eyes at this point, because this junkyard hardly ever has imports in it. Well open the door silver one (its a 89) and it has a COMPLETE interior! I about shit my pants. I go over to the black one (90 just like mine!) and yes, IT ALSO HAS A COMPLETE INTERIOR! I don't know if you guys know, but I'm in the middle of doing an Si interior swap into my HF.

The junkyard wouldn't let me rip anything apart yet, cause some kid was suppose to buy the complete silver car yesterday, but he never showed up and they want to wait to see if he ever comes. And the black one was just dropped off today so they want to check it out before I start ripping out the interior.

So they said I can come back on wensday and they'll tell me if I can start ripping it apart then, if they are ready for me too. They said they have a feeling the 89 will still be there too!

The damn door panels in both cars are nicer than the ones I got off ebay too!....grrrrr. The only thing wrong with the dash in the black 1990 si, is someone drilled a 1/8 hole right about the glove box, but you can hardly see it, and I'm going to try to heckle them to take the price down because of it.

GOD IM SO EXCITED! I can't wait for hump day to come!

Haha, I feel ya man. I am not in the middle of any interior swaps, but just finding 2 wrecked CRX's to pilfer parts from would be awesome. Like I could really use the rear disc brakes from the 90 and so on. Anyway, hope you get your interior parts man.

damn dude, thats krazy... when i first got my crx, it had a flip up sun roof... i got back from a pool hall one day and found out that the thing on top of my glass that connects my handle came off....... so i went to every junk yard in town... about 5.. and i found 1... JUST 1 CRX.. and it was a first gen.. omfg.. ne wayz.. i called honda later that day.. and they said it was a aftermarket sun roof... so i jus felt like a fucktard.. n e wayz. thats tight dude, hope u get whut u need outta the rex's

im trying to re-do my interior, im sick of the stnd interior, so far i got all SI shit in there, i have a question, i have a 91 hatch, will door panels from a 90-91 CRX fit the civics?

89dx,si and all 90-91 crx panels will work for the 90-91 hatch Si panels says CRX though
