There's a nice black SI that got dropped of at the junkyard today...

and I have a 4-spd DX 1.5 What if anything would you take off this car and put on a DX?? im already think about taking the carpet, cuase i ripped min out.. ive already grabed some vents, and the clock, but what about engine parts, or maybe somthin else?? suspension, i gotta hurry before some one else strips this thing..Lets just say I have a complete stock civic for now..any suggestions

Grab the engine, cluster, seats and if its a 90-91 si grab that rear whole suspension so you can convert to rear brake discs!

90-91 Hatches don't have rear disk foo!

Get the rear LCAs, and the sway bar from the Si though... Seats, and guage cluster.

There's probably more, but not that I can think of.

get all the MPFI stuff. and the tranny. also get the front hubs. i would probably pick up the si lip off the front bumper. all seats, cluster... thats all i can think of right now.

im gonna try and get that 5-spd, inly sombody took a hcksaw to the shifter, either to steal the shifter, or a gheto attemt for a short shifter

the seats are all ripped, even thogh, they felt nice when i was sittin in em, taking out the vents

As long as its of similar year 88-89 90-91 of your car the lip will bolt right up.

The Si motor is a 1.6L with 108hp with a shorter geared tranny than yours. Don't worry aboot the shifter rod, they're like $70 to get a cheap-o short shifter.

should i grab the trans and engie? or just trans, the engine looks alright, but it could be shot... all the stuff is there for an mpfi swap, i think sombody grabed the ecu, i have to check, but i thikn i saw it cut

Damn, your one lucky son of a gun. There aren't any si's around here for picking. But yeah get the following cause that car will be picked clean soon.
- Gauge Cluster (has tach)
- Clock
- Engine or just the MPFI setup
- Trans (not to easy to come across)
- Steering wheel (it has three arms unlike yours
which has two. Looks good)
- Glovebox (has carpet)
- Front and rear seats (You won't be sorry once
you get them in)
- The front bumper lip (hard to find)
- Get the rear mud flaps.
- Center console piece (The hardest piece to find)
- If you want, you could get the muffler (has two
pipes)
- Window visors are clothe, I beileve (got mine out
of a crx)
- And just for kicks, grab the Si emblem and stick it
in your pocket.
- And if your gonna get the MPFI setup, get the
ECU

the part where the front brakes are. i would get them so the si axles will fit, cause the 4 speed has different hubs.

i dont think you need them, but if you ever do a b-series swap you need dx/si hubs.
