My fiances' abs light is on in her Taurus.I've checked the fluid level it's fine and the brakes don't feel any different.Any ideas anyone?????

If the abs light is on, it meas that the vehicle ABS module has disabled the abs brakign features and you are runnign with non-abs brakes at this time. That is why it feels as if it has not changed at all. In this state, the brakes will work as if they are Non-abs.. IE: brakes will lock on a hard push of the pedal! Most likely cause of this is an ABS Toner ring that is a toothed gear ring on your front wheel drive axles cv joint. Other possible causes are bad abs wheel sensors and faulty wiring. Fords are known for the Toner ring Breaking for no apparent reason. do a inspect of the abs toner rings to be sure they are not cracked aor moving on the cv end towards the tire.
