integra vtec quick questions

how do people make they dohc ls/vtec kick in so loud? or is it just like that..im getting ls/vtec soon and i want mine to be like that,im doing b16 vtec on stock b18 block this shop is doing it for me,they say they know what they doing and that they did it before...im not planning to rev it past the redline i just want a short boost..

things that would make it "sound" loud would be new headers + exhaust....i don't know of any other proper ways to get more sound out of vtec

the reason its "loud" is because of the b16 head.

the b18c5 is louder than the b18c1 because of that very reason.

ok i got the b16 vtec head block,will the b18c5 head work with my 91 integra tranny? and what ecu will i need?

the b18c5 head is the same as the b16 head. it is simple pp'd...
