Differences between 96-98 and 99-00 Civics
Are there any major differences between the 96-98 Civics and the 00-99 Civics? Are exterior/interior/engine parts for one compatible with the other? The reason i ask is because i always see the majority of available parts advertised as being for 96-98 Civics, and the 99-00 Civics only have a fraction of the same parts listed from them. I tried doing a search in the forums, but there seem to be some technical difficulties with the search engine. I have a '00 Civic Ex coupe, so that's why i'm asking.

The front is different. Headlights, fenders, front bumper, hood, is all different. The back is more or less the same except for the color of the taillights.

Yeah, i forgot the taillights and the intereior are a bit different, and the hubcaps too, i think. But aside from the other stuff you mentioned, is anything different in regards to the engine compartment, or does everything for one fit the other?

The only differences are the exterior and interior. The suspension and engine components are the same.
