96-98 vs 99-00 Civics

Can 99-00 body parts for a Civic HB fit on a 96-98 HB? cuz I wanted to do a CTR conversion, but there are 2 different catalogs ... then theres the 96-98 CTR Headlights and the 99-00 CTR Headlights for sale? If I did get a HB, which would be easier to covert?

the 99-00 parts will not bolt onto a 96-98, but you can do the 99-00 front end conversion which takes a little bit of work but then you will be able to bolt parts on.

Re: 96-98 vs 99-00 Civics

If you bought ALL the front end parts for a 99-00 Civic (including fenders, hood, headlights, grill, and front bumper) they will bolt on. You'll have to do a little modification to the radiator support, but it takes like 5 minutes. I just did this conversion a few months ago. PM me if you have any questions.

Re: 96-98 vs 99-00 Civics

basically yeah. and then you won't have to listen to people ask you "why did you convert your front end to another civic front end?" all the DAMN TIME.
