2000 Civic -- couple of Qs

Hey,
I just got a 2000 Civic SE and I am planning on doing a couple of things to it. (nothing major). I will list all the thing I want to do and would like some suggestions and comments.

#1- Paint all black moldings/mirrors/aroundliscenceplate/doorhandles to silver (match the body of the car)
Question: Can the black moldings...etc be painting?? Will it look good?
#2- Remove "Civic" and "SE" emblems, fill holes and paint over.
Question: What should I fill the holes with and will the spray can of touch up paint work, or should i have it painted professionally?
#3- Replaced Honda "H" Emblems to the red "H".
Question: I was searching ebay and found a ton of these, some say that you can attach w/ double sided tape. Are these bad quality ones? I would think I should get ones that have pins to go into holes like current manufacturer ones?? Not sure???

Please let me know, Thanks guys!

Where are you from? I've never heard of a Civic SE. Anyways.......
1. Yes you can paint the moldings and yes it will look alot better. Just get it done proffesionally
2. Do not fill the holes yourself. Have it proffesionally done. The paint idea is bad, real bad.
3. I'm not real sure about aftermarket badges because I'd never use em but double sided tape sounds ghetto.

most badges like that are just held on by a type of adhesive, no holes

I'm from Montreal, Canada.
They make SEs here.
Mine is actually a SE "Grand Prix" Edition. Which means it came stock with 15" rims, spoiler, cd+tape....etc
I will deffinitely have everything done professionally once I have them painting everything i'll have them fill the holes and paint over it as well.
Does anyone know if there are ANY good quality aftermarket H Emblems??

Alright How would I take it off?
Also does it leave a mark, and how would be the best way to get rid of the mark -- without painting?

park your car in the sun, or use a hair dryer to get the emblem warm.

then use some fishing line or dental floss and slowly pry the emblem off, then go a an automotive store and get some Goo gone that is made for automotive paint. and spray that on there to remove any left over glue that might be there.
