Re: should i buy or build?

You will get more for your money if you buy one that has already been modified. That being said one's that are already modified are almost always already f'ed up.

As for a build, its time consuming and expensive but at least you can rest assured that it will be done properly.

These things are too subjective to really give you an answer. best of luck.

Moved from Classifieds as nothing in this thread is for sale or looking for an item.

All depends on how much you know and how comfortable you are with doing work. I wouldn't trust too many people who've done their own work. As stated, people F things up and half ass projects.

Re: should i buy or build?

It would definitely be cheaper to buy it modified, but it may definitely be messed up when you buy it, if you build it yourself you'll know what you're dealing with :-)

Re: should i buy or build?

you should defenatly built one your self cause if you buy it soopted up you know somebody bit the shit out of it and selling it. Cause to built it right cost a lot of money and you not going to be selling the car

False... Did mine the right way and dumped a small fortune into it and I ended up selling it still. You move onto new projects and get rid of the old, doesn't mean it's not built right or been abused. Usually you have a little chat with the seller a bit you can tell if they knew what they were doing or not and if they abused the car.

Re: should i buy or build?

Brian if we talking about built and sell .Then yes we move on to the next car. But if you not plkaning on selling it and building it for yourself. On average itwould cost you about 6G. But I m not saying that you can;t find nice sopt up car for much less, u can but thats1:100 chances are you willing to take that risk and pay 4 for acar insdead of8 it would cost including the car its up to you .Good luck and if a person sais they ruibilt the engine pullthe valve cover off and oil pan and thed condition would tell you if the were any work done withn in 50 k. Thats what we here for I respect your opinion and I see a good point in it.
