New bottom please help !

Hi i am new and need help. I bought this 4 cyl. 98 camry that has no distributer. The car came with spun bearings but I thought I could skate cheap I just put new bearings the camry ate the bearings so fast. So I went and got a 96 2.2 short block same block so I thought, now I am not so sure as I have power to the coil but when I crank the motor I get about .5 volts and that is all i can get out of this new short block, and the same top end from the original 98 distributorless 2.2 (no spark) I have checked the ohms for the crank sensor and do not know how to check the igniter part of the coil the secondary has 13 ohms please help abrat6917
