the PCV has a hose/plastic tube to it from the tb base. removal of that tube or damage to it WILL cause the engine to stall.

replace the PCV every 30,ooomi and make sure this works correctly as this can cause idle issues and crankcase gaskets to leak.

do you have throttle body injection or fuel injection.

if you have fuel injection you cannot remove the air ducting to the throttle body with the engine running .

with the engine off only use throttle body cleaner and DO NOT USE CARB CLEANER. use a toothbrush when cold to loosen the carbon deposits and make sure you wait until restarting as this will flood the engine .

if you have throttle body injection basicly a carb with two injectors be very care full not to damage the injector wires/connections and also no carb cleaner. also clean this when cold and engine off.

air breather is the air filter box ?
