1991 190e oil drinker
This car still runs good but is using about 4 qts of oil a week when putting less than 200 miles on it, it's a 2.6L and the oil looks clean. The radiator is where most of the oil is going as the fill jug is full of oil, what could be causing this? We was told a new engine would fix it but it sounds more like a blown gasket or seal.

Oh dear, that is not good at all. Oil and water in an engine should never mix. It means something has failed, and continuing to drive it could lead to the whole engine failing altogether. If you lucky it is just a blown Head Gasket. If your unlucky, water has found its way into the oil and there is bearing damage. There could be other problems, warped head, cracked block, etc. The only way to find out is to start pulling the engine down and inspecting things. That can get expensive, and a swap for a used engine maybe the best fix.
