How to get garage to check the intake gasket issue

Hi All
Got a 2002 Montana, it just started doing the bubbling in the overflow tank thing... 200,000 kms. I've read 4 years of threads on this site on the topic
What are the right questions to ask the garage to see if it is the intake gasket and/or head gasket?
What tests do I need them to do?
Fans, thermostat all check out, radiator is bent due to a crash but doesn't leak. Radiator cap was just replaced, that might fix it. I've taken in to 2 places in 2 days but not real confident that they have located the problem.

Is the answer to take it to a GM dealer??
thanks in advance

A coolant pressure test might pick out a bad Inake gasket.
I have use very little additives in my life, but http://www.steelseal.com might be worth a try.
