Cat Converter

Hello! I have a 1998 Chevy Blazer 4.3 V6 4x4 115000 miles. Noticed loud rattling noise the other day at idle and discovered it was coming from the Catalytic converter. My question is can I replace this myself? Looks like it just bolts in. Also, what name brand would be best to replace it with and where is the best place to buy one from online or local auto store? Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: Cat Converter

Yes you can do it yourself, don't forget new bolts and gaskets. Don't bother with economy converters, get a good one: http://www.amazon.com/Walker-Exhaust.../dp/B000C8Z7C6
