You need to get a Dremmel rotary tool and cut it.

I had to do it on my 96 toyota tercel. I had 17x7 wheels and it would rub inside the fender right above the wheel. It is a little flap that goes inward. If you look right above you tire where the fender is, look under the fender as if you were looking at your springs and you will see that some metal folds inward. You have to like cut it a opposite ends and then hammer the metal up into the fender. Put it like this, if you put your hand above your tire at the fender, you will feel some flat metal. I have no digital camera, so I can't post pics, just detailed descriptions.

You probably also have a heavy duty nail clipper too.

If you are talking about the lip on the inside of the guard.....there is a special tool that bolts to your wheel hub and it "rolls" the lip in.

Try a panel shop to see if they have one.

i let it fold in by itself, i know its ghetto... but it worked

put your car before a bump, stop, and go over the bump really fast with your steering wheel all the way in one direction. then repeat with the other side. fender roll

OK, this discussion has moved into rolling the fender lips......

ABSOLUTLEY, DO NOT cut the fender lip..... under any circumstances. The inner and outer fender lips are structural. Just becauase someone hasn't had a problem is no reason to do this. Threre are people who have had severe structural problems from cutting the fender lip.

The inner and outer fender are tack welded and are an important part of the structural rigidity of the coachwork.

If you want to roll the fender lip, a baseball bat works nicely from what I have been told. Search the SE-R Mailing List archives for more info on rolling fenders if you need to roll them.

That said, the initial question was not about rolling the fenders. And like Jason said, I have not had to roll the fenders on my P10. I did on my SE-R.

Thats what I meant. But you have to cut at 2 ends and then roll it in.

No you don't. Just roll it right up. The metal will bend and stretch enough.
