Yamaha YZF R1 - 1998 - Tamiya 1 : 12
Hi guys!
Here is my new finished work, the nice Yamaha YZF R 1 kit from Tamiya. Painted with Tamiya acrilics, TS sprays (but true airbrush), Alclad II Chrome and 2 K Automotiv acrilic clear. Frame was striped from original chrome paint and repainted with TS 30 Silver Leaf. In my opinien this paint is also a better match to the original frame color. I also added some rivets from Tuner Model Manufactory. Regards, Tibi

I did some wheathering (staining) on the exhaust. Unfortunatlly is hidden behind the fairing.
The exhaust looks like this :
