Tamiya Yamaha YZF-R1 paint scheme?

hello there
first, sorry for bad english
question is about Tamiya Yamaha YZF-R1 Taira racing.
this is my intermediate test assembly. it is a litle strange colored:

tail and tank are alclad white aluminium, all other PVC's are with alclad polished aluminium. it looks a litle strange before test assembly, but now i thing it look preety good.

please, give me your opinion for this scheme before my next step. model will be disassembled for more and more detailed works, but i need to know what you think about polished aluminium. will i keep it or repaint with white aluminium?

thanks in advice

Only just read your post,so let me be the first to respond to it.If you are asking my opinion regarding the two colours you have painted the kit in so far then I much prefer the darker shade that you have used on the tank and seat unit assembly. The polished aluminium looks too pale in my opinion. The exhaust tailpipe looks excellent,I really like the colour. Is it painted or a decal? You should start a W.I.P in the motorcycle section so people can follow your build.

Re: Tamiya Yamaha YZF-R1 paint scheme?

PVC's looses its mirror power, thanks to agama warnish ( enamel one ). now they are too closer to tank and tail, witch get more bightness from it. in realy, polished aluminium is realy polished aluminium, but without mirror efect, some how as old polished and litle oxidaded.

now i can't get a shot ( all must get dry, and here is 22:00 and no light ).

exhaust is painted with mix ot 3 tamiya paints, dont ask me about numbers and proportions exactly now.alclad black base is under this mix and some warnish is over it ( i thing, again agama ). exhaust pipes are painted with alclad chrome and next was finished with tamiya weathering set D. but for now, it must be remasked. no warnish over them.

finaly, i don't thing that i have enought faculty to be in W.I.P.
