Exclamation turn signal issues on 2003 monte carlo

I have a 2003 monte carlo when i use the turn signal the guages in the dash act like i just turned the car on. It seems to do this randomly. i checked the alternator it is good, and changed the battery. I went to autozone to get a flasher cube thinking maybe it was shorting out, but they told me that there is no flasher cube it is all controled from the body contro module. They don't have any in stock. has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas on what is wrong? If it is the BCM where is it located in the car?

Re: turn signal issues on 2003 monte carlo

The Signals actually are not controlled by the BCM. The Hazard switch is a digital blinker Module in these cars. (Which is easily replaceable) I would doubt the bcm would be causing this, but anything is really possible. Could be a problem the Cluster it self, or possibly an ignition issue even.

Ive had the same type of problem, it ended up being the Multi Function switch. Thats the turn signal arm itself.
