HELP!2003 Monte Carlo and my cigarette lighter isnt working
Ok now this is crazy. I thought it was the fuse but I bought some new mini 10 fuses for it. And that wasn't the reason. I turned my radar detector plug all around in that cigarette light and it still dont work. I'm scared, well not really but I don't wanna get shocked by touching something behind it. I did however look behind the console where the lighter is at and I dont see anyplace where its been disconnected at. Hmmmm.... any comments please?

try the monte carlo forum
 other then that check the fuse check if anything else works in the cig lighter it could be a fuse in your radar

I fried a radar detector once. Dont know what caused it to fry, but each time I hooked it up, the bad boy started smoking. This actually turned out to be good because it got me to spend some money on a bel. Good comes with bad.

take out the lighter itslef n sand off the part where it screws in because its probably not getting a good ground which would cause it not to work
