All lights come on, then all lights go off
Hi, I have an 03 Taurus ses. A which ago it started doing this thing where all of my dashboard indicator lights come on, then my car dies and restarts. This also completely resets my radio back to factory settings if that helps. It wasn't happening that often but it has happened twice today and I'm nervous I'm looking at an expensive repair...does anybody have any ideas what this could be?
Thanks! |

Welcome to the forum!
The problem with your car sounds either like a problem with the battery. connections to/from the battery, or the ignition switch. -Rod |

More likely the connections to the fuse box. Check the cables that go from the battery to the under hood's fuse distribution box. And check the condition of this fuse box. Sometimes there's rust here.
