motorized trunk and roof

I'm looking for the motorized trunk and roof kit. If it's out there to buy. Where to get it and how much?

Theyre fun, but they break easily, and to install one in a car that wasn't made to do it (IE a USDM sol) is a pain. You have to rebuild the ass end of the car. They weigh almost 200lbs, and the 1 out of 10 times that it works smoothly isn't worth it. You can get a transtop for $6000 installed, or you can get an entire JDM sol for $8000. Take your pick.

Thanks, my girl wanted to see it. $6000 is way to much, I got my 93 Sol with 68,00 miles perfect for 3000.

there's videos/pics of it in action all over the web... it's just a pain in the ass to make a USDM sol do it. I know a guy who's selling a JDM sol with the transtop on it... hit me up on aol if you want his contact info. I think he said $8500 delivered to your door from Cali.

I've seen some transtops for sale for $4k pre-installation....still too much if ya ask me...

and yeah, good luck finding someone to install it and fix it in the states when it breaks...not if, when...
