help installing a cd player for a honda

i got a 95 honda civic dx and i want to put in a cd play but i dont know how to take the panel off to get the cd player out can anybody help me and tell me how i can get it out?

If you are just trying to replace the stereo in the normal Din opening in the dash, maybe I can point you in the right direction.

First, pull out the ashtray and take off the little panel below the radio (that the coin holder is built into). IIRC it's only 4 screws and you have to unplug the power to the ashtray lightbulb. That'll let you see what's behind there a little better and if there is a strap or anything holding the back of the radio.

Most stereos have 4 small holes, 2 on each side. If you push a stiff wire into each of those holes, you should feel it release and you can pull the stereo out. There's a special tool for this, but it's really nothing more than a bent wire. Hope that helps.
