vtec solynoide
where is that vtec solyniode located again is it the small cylinder lookin thing attached to the head next to the fuel rail.... and thats how u can tell for sure its vtec?

Your vtec sulenoid is located to the left of your exhaust cam (DOHC). On SOHC, it's right in front of your distributor. That's the best way I can describe it. Just look for the sulenoid, and that usually means they are running vtec... unless they have it turned off (vtec controller) or their check-engine light is on, or the car is cold, or the oil pressure is low... So yeah....

the reason why i ask is because im double checkin cuz i always here people in this forum sayin this and that about there car not bein vtec when its really suppossed to be and i have a si hatch mine says vtec on the valve cover and 1 orf 5 people i know who own si hatches doesnt say it on his .. i jsut wanna know what the deal is with the si hatches . so u know jsut makin sure and tryin not to be paranoid....i wanna makesure i didnt get ripped of, u know what im sayin but yea thanx man for the response it helps
