Question Ground Control Coilovers

Im very close to ordering them but just need a few second opinions. Anyone have experience with this setup, specifically on stock shocks? Also, I have 18 inch wheels and if I start out at 1.75 front, 1.5 rear, will I need a camber kit? Im thinking probably not. Last thing, Its best to take it to a shop to get installed right? How much would this run on average? Thanks.

why take it to a shop? Do it ur self; it's not that hard. Besides the experience might even influence u to try another project on ur own.

Thumbs up

No worries bro. They are bad ass. I have a 1997 Integra GSR and I have had no problem with them. I had the choice between Ground Control or Skunk2. Both are really great products!!! I brought my teg to a shop where I told them how low I wanted my car and they adjusted it with the coil overs. They even wheel aligned my car and everything. You wont regret it. If you need pics of them on my car just ask. It will handle your 18's!! Rest assured. However based upon the alignment readings 1.75 in the front and 1.5 in the rear, you will need a cambering system to prevent poor tire thread wear. My last readings were about the same and I had to change all four tires due to inner thread wear. By the way, they are on stock shocks. If you going to lower your vehicle though, drop it right, use a camber kit for front and rear. More likely you will have to. Ingalls makes one of the best. They've been in the business for a long time. Any other questions just ask!!!

Thanks guys, yeah I was thinkin of doin it myself and I know its not too difficult with the exception of possible hard to remove bolts. If I could see a pic of your ride that would be great. Thanks, Jake
