Ground Control Coilovers, do i really need Shox?

I'm plan to get ground control coilovers, but i don't plan to drop the car more than like 1.2 inches, to be safe lets say 2 is the most it will ever go, but not till like next summer.. Would it be really necessary to actually get new aftermarket shocks? I'm not going to be driving too hard, and i think my shocks are in decent condition. I'll check. Any ideas/Suggestions?

nah your existing shocks should be fine. You might need a camber kit depending if your alignment is aligned right.
