1993 4x4 to 2x4 trans swap

I have a 93 150 4.9l 5 on the floor. I also have 4x4 but since I need a new trans and all I can find are trans. out of 2x4's. Can I use a driveshaft out of any f150, mt or at, with supercab like mine or do I have to have one out a manual truck?
