1997 Nissan Pickup Truck (need help)

I'm having a little trouble with my Nissan truck... My son was driving it down the road and it basically just quit, just like that, kaput.

My first idea was to change fuel pump... which did not help. I then changed all four spark plugs, and the distributor cap.

Gas runs all the way up the the fuel injectors and it fires.

Anyone have any idea as to what may be wrong???
Am I being to vague?
thanks in advance,
-nemo

Re: 1997 Nissan Pickup Truck (need help)

Those years and older were known for bad wiring at the sending unit. If it is making bad contact then the pump may run but not to its full potential. Check to see if the fuel pressure is high enough.
