b16a1 vs b16a2

Which of these engines should I get or are they both OK? What other stuff do I need to get?

This is what I think I need so far:
b16a1 engine with mounts
5spd manual trans
b16a1 ecu

There must be more.

you should get the a1 because its easier on the wiring than the a2

90-93 integra axles with that intermediate shaft
custom shiftlinkage from hasport, or the integra one shortend

Like civickiller suggested. I would go b16a since ur car is already non obd. Plus its a better motor anyways.

I like the 1st gen B16s a lot more too, make use of that fact that you don't have a 5th gen or newer Civic with OBD.

Plus, 1st gens are a lot cheaper.
