Help With The Free 96 Integra
Hey Guys,
I am new to the forums and am need in some advice. I recieved a 96 Integra that is an AUTOMATIC  . I want to be able to compete with street racers in my city. What can I do to this car to make it faster? I am in the military and I have some money so I would appreciate any help as far as what parts would make it faster and stuff like that.Thanks. Mogg

sorry guy...an auto is gonna be tough to make really fast (unless ur pushin huge numbers for hp/trq). how deep is ur wallet>? an wut model of integra? ls/gs/rs?

i kno this, but im asking because the interiors are different, an weight is a lil diff. plus its jus nice to kno wut the base car is to begin w/.

For starters I would recomend a tranny swap. You can sell your auto tranny and tranny computer and recover some of the cost involved. Then basics Intake, Header, Exhaust. Also while you are converting to manual tranny put a light weight flywheel and good quality clutch in. Now you are ready to put cams in the car along with cam gears, Fuel pressure regulator and computer chip. Some coilover will help with traction problems as well as decrease the amount of torque that is absorbed by the rear suspension. That is a start, and I am getting lazy so someone continue where I left off.

How much is a manual transmission? I can get the work done free my dad is a mechanic. How much could I sell my old transmission for?
