Turbo is better due to it's higher efficiency (reliability) and the fact that you can control boost (boost controller) and makes more power. Turbo drawbacks are turbolag and finding an application to fit your particular vehicle, you also should strengthen your engine components in you plan to run real high boost.

S/C=a little less efficiency, no boost control, but you can make power soon as you step on the gas, no lag, s/c does not depend on spent gases to make power like the turbo, usually s/c are cheaper in price, however both applications need intercooling (regardless of what people say about s/c's).

There are some other pros and cons as well.

True, Turbo is much better then Supercharger.. The reason why because I heard many people have problem on Supercharger.. I have experience driving Greddy turbo on my 98 Civic.. I put ACT extreme pressure clutch with Longer Gear Transmission.. I also put Greddy PRofec B boost control and crank it up to 10 pound of boost with stock internal motor.. It run strong and pull harder whenever I shift the gear.. Awesome ride.. I still miss my civic.. So I heard many people have problem with supercharger.. Supercharger break the belt easily or the pulley will come off the supercharger.. People say they cant crank up the boost and put something make it cooler.. The Greddy Turbo come with Intercooler right... Go for Turbo and dont get Supercharger.. If people think Im wrong or mistake, well go try supercharger and see what happen.. :silly2:

ok. it depends on what u wanna do , u have to make up your mind, here we go **** turbo: gets the energy of the exhaust gas through a custom downpipe- doesnt put any load on the engine to spin-harder to put on the vehicle- more money-reliable f u know what ur doing as far as boast level on stock internals-u can get a piss load of power u can double up the hp even mooore but u gotta change ur pistons rod springs and all that to lower comprission and to increse engine durability- turbo lag exists but u can avoid that by getting light turbo wheels high quality and work on how to get ur rpm up there fast enough to spin the turbo
******sc:gets the energy of the engineby abelt and a pully-draws power from the engine in order to spin and it runs about 50 to 70 hp lossbut then u get enough power to cover that loss and some extra horses-less money-few problems here and there-power gain less than turbo kits with the same boast level
if ur interested in drag racing , street ass whipping ur ? should be {should i get a big turbo or a twin turbo}
if u just like cruising with the hommies there s no reason to boast ur car ,,,, dont b cheap and get a super charger ,,, f its worth doing give all u got do it once and forget about it:smoker2:
