I don't have a JRSC, but have researched them very heavily and talked to a few people who have had them for a while. The vast majority of problems I've heard about are due to the fuel-system mods that come in the kit - I believe it comes with a new fuel pump, pressure regulator, and rail. Apparently the pressure regulator is prone to breaking. The advice I was given was to upgrade the fuel system myself without using any of Jackson Racing's parts.
on the B18C1 engine - I've heard that 6psi is excellent on stock, but 8psi brings serious concern of wear and tear on the pistons, connecting rods, and gasket. You might want to look at getting replacement connecting rods for an Integra Type R (B18C5) or Crower rods. Make sure you don't up your compression ratio if you get new pistons, though. If anything, you might want to lower the c/r to avoid detonation.
