Thumbs up Pictures from the IPMS/ACME Southern Nat's Model Car Show

Here's a link to my online album from our show.

A little something for everyone is in the album. It was a fun show, we had 375 models entered. Show themes were "Orphans" (any brand car not produced any more, or unavailable in the US any more), and woodies, and there were display categories for everything else.

That drag bike at the last page is just awesome! I also liked many of the racing subjects of the older cars.
Great photos Mr. Downie.

This was built by a friend of me and ZoomZoom, he used an electric train smoke generator and miniature flashing lights to replicate the flames. The smoke maker was under the road and the smoke exited up through the model. It was very realistic.

thats what i thought, its actually very simple to make your own smoke unit. its just coiled wires that heats up the smoke fluild that makes smoke. itll be pretty tight if some one hook it up to the exhaust to come out of the muffler.
