Question People with aftermarket rear bumpers, I have a question.

Do you have the license plate lights hooked up? I have the Wings West bumper, and I need to figure out how to hook up my license plate lights. Well, I know how to hook them up, I just need to figure out how to make the holes for them.

You have to be a little creative. Mine are held on to the bumper support rather than the bumper itself.

Hmmm, I cant even see the support around my plate.

I was thinking, maybe I should get those license plate screws with the lights in them.

it hasn't been done to mine yet...but jer had a really good idea. he is going to drill holes directly above the plate and drop down some clear LED's so they light up the plate but you don't see them.

wait  did that make sense?

The body shop put mine on... It's kinda weird, it's not the stock setup, and they screwed them into the bumper just above the plate... I'll try and get a pic of it tomorrow. Only problem is that the rear of the lights are clear, so you can see the lights from behind at night, rather than just the license plate...

:hehe: Actually that wouldnt be that hard, just hook up a washer led where the plate goes and point it upward, and it will get blown back onto the car behind you by the wind, if I had a car like an integra with it on the roof, I would soo do that and aim em so they do hit the car behind, it would be madd funny!

When I got my new hood, the squirters are relocated to underneath the hood lip. They aren't aimed properly, and if I turn them on, one of them shoots a stream over the car to about 15 feet behind the rear bumper. I can totally hose down a car behind me.

Also, on my Jeep Cherokee, if you undo the hose for the rear squirter, it'll point straight back and you can hose people down with it.
