REAR BUMPER ABSORBER Question

I have a Ford Explorer 2002.

The rear bumber has a hole in one side and a crack in another side. I will like to fix this but I'm not sure if should just get the part or have someone fix the damaged sections of the bumber. I haven't got a chance to talk with someone at a body shop.

In case the person from the body shop tells me that he needs to replace the entire bumper, where can I get this part at good price?

Thank you in advanced,
