ahh nother prob...brake lights...where ya at?
ok well my car made it to nopi (that was the first hurdle) fine. well on the way to nopi, for some reason my lights that signal that i am braking decided not to work!
my friend in his gti behind me nearly ran into the back of me several times b/c we couldnt figure out why but then he noticed that they werent comin on. I have no blown fuses for that part, and I know the bulbs are still good b/c the parkin lights stay lit, just dont get any brighter when i apply the brake?!?!?!?! btw its 90 tails in a 88 hatch but that dont really matter. well if someone nails the back of me it'll be there fault and they wont be able to prove they didnt come on b/c odds are thatll be what they hit, not the bumper. I HATE URBAN ASSAULT VEHICLES! so i guess i can get back at them. and be like of course they dont work now!i dunno i got a 90 junk hatch im gonna swap that part of wiring and see if that dont help.....hope to fix it though

check your light bulbs, they may have been forced in the wrong way. there are two guides on the side of the bulb, one is higher than the other.

if u've checked all the easy stuff then pull the wires from the braking switch and jump them 2 c if the switch is bad.

Dude...i had this issue with my 85 Civic...it turned out to be the connector where all the wires go to the back of the car. The connector on my '85 was under the door sill on the drivers side..I took it apart and cleaned it all up and sprayed some contact cleaner on it to solve the problem.
