Question Color for revell MkII

For the revell Gti I was thinking about an italian red color or white. Im leaning towards the white a little bit more. Please tell me what you think would look good. If you haveother colors please suggest them to me

I did the same kit using Testor's Gunmetal Grey. It's a metallic colour and looked great after a clearcoat.

I did one in yellow; it wasn't too bad. How about True Blue Pearl?!

the red is sooo typical, imo. how about olive drab (green) from tamiya? it looks like the mk1's old fashion green.

Re: Color for revell MkII

I was thinking about making a model from the one in my signature, and think i still will. I was going to pick the Gti up today but they dont have it anymore. After i finish my civic i think im going to order one off of ebay or anywhere else that still sells them. Thanks

I think Tamiya TS-14 black color would be nice on a Golf.

I did a Revell golf mk2 in Tamiya TS 53 Deep blue metallic, it has a very deep shine and great color effects when placed in direct sunlight.

But you could try using original VW colors from a spraycan.
I think that Dark Burgundy pearl (LC3U) from the Edition One is a great color, with black to purple effect.
