Project R33

Heres another of my WIPs that Im working on at the moment.
Tamiyas R33 GTR with a few mods to the body kit.
Wont be too over the top, Colour is going to be Candy Purple, I'm not trying to emulate Nissans beautiful Midnight Purple, I just really like the Candy Purple colour.
Heres a few progress shots to show changes to the stock body.
Next up is finishing the body mods & exhaust system.

Most mods made with Styrene & putty to finish

Vented the front quater panels

The Front so far, still some work to do

These are the wheels I will be using, had them left over from Nismo Z kit & thought the shape of the wheels would really suit a R33. then my imagination took over from there

Chassis - fogged some candy purple on the sides to represent a respray

Thats about it for now, Im still working on getting the body right & getting the stance low.

Thanks for looking

Ash

Re: Project R33

Nice start. Just so you know that the head light cover does not fit perfectly in this kit. This may be something you want to test fit in advance.

Is that a super wide R32 in the background?
