Savage 1968 Charger R/T...old schoool baby

Just thought you all might like to see my 68 dodge charger r/t. it has a 440, hemi-4speed tranny (a-833), dana 60 rear end (9.75"), factory front disc brakes and sway bar, engine is bored .30 over w/ Ross racing pistons, MP rods, Eagle crank, the heads are ported 906 stock heads, has a edelbrock torker aluminum intake w/ a holley 850cfm carb ontop.

Gorgeous!! I want to know what size those rear tires are! They fill it up really good, just right. My car is opposite, red with a black stripe. Those are cool guages! Did you have to use the original hardware, or is it all new? I want to change out my originals. One more question... do you still have dumb kids trying to street race you? Seems like no matter what, if you are in a MOPAR like that, they think they have to prove something. Thanks for sharing!

Bitchin' car, but I liked the factory dash. Where's the tic-toc-tach... and I like the '69-70's huge taillight panel.
I recently(well, 8 years ago now) sold my '69 RT/SE that was a 440/4bbl/727/3.91/Tic-toc-tachcluster, and factory A/C (that worked), power windows and door locks and white leather(mostly vinyl) interior and a white vinyl top. I wish I still had it. Like everybody always says, but I couldn't turn the money down when they guy came and bought it. At least I had the joy of owning one for 12 years. Would you believe I sold her and am working on '69 GTS 383 (clone) Dart... but it fits in my garage and my wife doesn't complain about it... whenever I get around to finishing it...!

hey your charger is awesome!! Yeah well it so happens that in my auto we picked out dream cars and i picked the 68 charger... now we need wheels and tire specs.. so what are they on yours?? i am having a hard time finding tires for it... thanks

sweet ..... had two, 68 R/T 383 tranplant/4bl/6pk cam/auto and a 69 383/4bl/auto

the 68 had rust, came off the road soon after I went in the service, brother found 69 while I was at sea, bent quarter, no rust, bought it, put the R/T supension under the 69, ended up selling the body, keep the motor and trans, drove the 69 for a few years, it came off the road when I was doing some heavyduty comuting, in the mean time got married, kids, bills, had to sell it to make ends meet one year, still miss it

if i was a challenger, i would make sweeeeet loving to that car and we would have dakota babies. that is by far the sexiest charger on this site!!! keep it up, and please, post hp and tq rating on your rb!!!!

Nice Bullitt Charger!!! I`d take that over the General Lee any day. She`s sweet.
