Going out of my mind - brake light beeping

I recently snapped the emergency brake line on my Bonneville by using it for the first time. Now my brake light is on and beeping. It isn't siezed up. I don't plan on fixing the line if I don't have to. However, I am going BONKERS!!! Is there any way to stop the beeping.

What year and model?

Try disconnecting the switch harness at the E-brake?
