2003 braking probs

my trucks brakes pulsate when the brakes are applied at slow speeds. The rotors have already been turned which did not fix the problem. I pulled the fuse on the abs to see if that would stop the problem but have had no luck figuring it out,

Re: 2003 braking probs

I had a problem like that and put new brakes on the front and had the rotors turned only to find out the problem was in the back right brake. It felt like a front brake problem because the steering wheel pulsed but it was in the rear.

when the front rotors are distorted you will feel the pulsations in the steering wheel .

the ABS will prevent stopping at slow speeds if the front wheel sensors or the hub bearing are defective.the brake pedal pulses.remove the 60 amp fuse that is the abs fuse . the abs light will come on but the abs will not activate.

if you have distorted rotors you do not get them cut . they are trash..........

you must find out why they got damaged. bad calipers hoses to calipers rusted/seized/poor fitting brake pads........

have you done this brake work or did a repair shop check all this out ?
