Talking Le Mans Contest Entry: Detailed 1/24 Cunningham E-type 1963

Start of what will be an 8 month (or more) build... I finally decided yesterday I had to try it! ? (my sketches and writting are horrible, I know!... Just a way to summarise the things I had in mind.)

(pics from url: http://racingsportscars.com/photo/Le_Mans-1963-06-16-photo.html )

I haven't decided yet which one I'll try to replicate... I'm missing lot of details pics, like interior ones, or engine and underside ones... Despite the fact that Google has nothing to hide to me anymore concerning this subject!
See you in september for the real start of this build!

And great great thanks to Bigfrit for his help and support!

Nice choice.
I hope to see more classic Le Mans cars entered.
If I decide to enter, that's what I'll probably choose, a nice classic race car.
Can't wait to see some progress on this beauty!

If it's at the Goodwood reveival in September I'll try and snag some photos in the Padock. No promises ;-)

Jag, Jags, Jags, I'm liking the way things are going here One very ambitious but aslo very "doable" project. I wish you the best of luck with it.
I remember finding some sites with lots of pictures of lightweight E-Type restorations, including a walkaround with interior and engine shots. I'll see what I can dig up on the weekend and pass them on.

But I surely don't expect to win, even in dreams... It's already so great I found a way to make something of these kits I bought because I wanted so bad an E-type... but unfortunately, that's the coupe I like the most! And it doesn't exist in 1/24... ( understood, Hasegawa... )

RallyRaider, thanks again! How can have I missed this one?! That's exactly what I needed! And I discovered the interior color was... blue! And now I know how the door panels should look like, and the dashboard, and the seats...

It's my job now not to turn all this into deception...

I've got a Heller Cunningham Jag coupe kit I'd like to build soon. Does anyone have any links to reference pics of this one?
