Post s15 tuning help~~~

i have a s15 silvia~ but i want power and a five transmission manual gear box.
im thinking of getting a rb25det engine(skyline engine) to replace the stock enjine. also im gonna get a r33 skyline 5 speed gear box.
i really want the gear box but i dontt kno about the engine.
should i get the rb25det engine or should i stick with the stock.
also what's the best single turbo thats out in the market.

Re: s15 tuning help~~~

WRONG FORUM
needs to be in the 240sx forum or siliva forum..
the 5sp sr tranny should fit in place of the 6speed even a lightly mod ka24de tranny can fit a s-15 sr20det.. im not sure about the rb25det trannys.. there is no "best" turbo it all depends what you wana do.. if you want quick spool up get a small a/r turbo more lag but more top end and more hp capabilities get a bigger a/r turbo, the stock t-28 should be good for about 300whp.. also the stock sr motor cant make more then 350hp on stock internals and even with that hp the motor will have a hard time being reliable..
do reseach and post in the right forums

LOL@ turbo 2nr....I like how you tell him he's in the wrong forum, and then proceed to tell him everything he should do with his car.

Re: s15 tuning help~~~

if you going to swap the r33 5speed might as well get the engine, you will have a higher out put potential with an RB25 than an SR20. or get the RB26 while you are at it.
