Hi,
I just got my bonneville 1990 and found that the rear doors dont open at all. I took it to the mechanic and he said you will have to comeback. Anybody know anything about it or had any problems like this and got solution, please e-mail at [email protected]... Thank you. |

I had the same prob with my 90 and unfortunatly I can't tell you how to fix it as I took it to a mechanic actually a friend of my father in law and he paid for the repair and picked it up so I don't know what they did to it to repair the rear doors. Common sense would be to Jimmy the doors then take off the interior lining and replace/repair what ever latch or lever broke... hope this helps. + it's always good to have a set of jimmy's....

Doing some research on this I read somewhere that theww older bonnies especially the 1990 model has a pin behind the handle thumb push button that usually bends and eventually falls off. thats why its seems like the button has no pressure. Hope this helps.
