2000 Suburban 1500 Stalls at low speeds
I have a 2000 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 which stalls at low speeds (i.e. 2 - 5 mph). The truck has 77,000 miles on it and this problem has been going on for the last 25,000 miles. I have replaced the air filter and the fuel filter, but the problem still happens. The stalling happens both when the truck is cold and when it is warmed up. I took the Suburban to the Chevrolet dealer and they could not find anything wrong with the truck and could not make the problem happen while they had it. No check engine light comes on the dashboard.

Possibly a bad fuek pressure regulator. From what I've been told they go bad frequently. Pull the vacuum line of & hold it close to the tip of the reg. look for gas coming out of reg. If gas is present the reg. is bad internally. Only a guess!!
