custom trunk enclosures

is there any pics of custom audio installation in the trunk, but still have most of your trunk space and a spare. Also how about if your trying to get a certain of cubic ft or in, in a fiberglass enclosure in the spare tire well, how would you go about doing that.

that's the prob - "still have most of your truck space" - I recommend possibly enclosing the spaces left and right of the truck and tossing your speaker in there and for your other components possibly under your front seats - but I'm not an audio buff.

I searched my database of pics and no luck - sorry

Good idea... or, you can calculate an estimate (L*W*H... simple algebra).
You could also try to impress me and get an exact calculation thru integration (Calculus)! :hehe:

What are you, going to farmer college?

I wouldn't suggest "using a liquid" to find volume... its just a waste of time. All you need to do is Length x Width x Height... thats all, nothing more.

why is it not neccessary to find out a close value for the box volume? objects that are irregular in shape will need more measurements than the typical LxWxH. sure that will give you a colse est. but i think liquid will help even more. also water displacement can work
