D1GP was great!

I must admit.... I was quite impressed with the Pontiac GTO. LOTS of power... but it seemed a lil' clumsy and heavy and Rhys defiantely hesitated a few times on the corners! He was probably scared of losing it... if the car loses a few hundred lbs. he may do better next year! I GOT A NICE PIC OF THE GTO IN THE PITS that I will post for all you DOMESTIC lovers later. I lost one of my memory cards that had a few good pix at D1... The VIPER powered Daytona was sick! Tarzan has never DRIFTED before and I was quite impressed! Too bad about Daijoro's S13...

How about KAZAMA and his Kei Office S15 against the HKS Silvia? Excellent Job! Props to Nomura in his heavy ER34! The JASPER SUPRA did very well I thought too....

Did I miss something? What happend to Ueo and his 86? The Daihatsu driver? I thought they were doing really well! I bet Daihatsu's become the next thing all these kid's snatch up now!

I had alot of fun! I got a few autographs from the D1 drivers. Got a pic taken with Ueo and some Umbrella girls.... and got a really bad sun burn! How did it go for you guys?

Went great, I got infield passes so I was right at the hairpin... nice spot as you may tell by my pictures.

I had a fun time with me and my step-dad.

glad to finally see an under-dog win rather then Imamura or Taniguchi.

Ueo had internal damage to his car, or so i heard.

Daijiro - anyone who puts RO_JA wheels on a drift car deserves to have it smacked into a wall.

btw, 1via, why do you always CAPITALIZE some words? it's annoying...

Sounds like you had a good time out there guys.

What we need to do next is to gather up a couple of semi-pro cameramen and make a pilot broadcast to pitch to either Spike TV or Speed Channel to get televised D1 and Formula D.

Re: D1GP was great!

D1 has their own Option Video you can buy... so i dont think they will be willing to share profits with anyone else... but Formula D is definitely going to get broadcasted at one of the stations... should be good

Option has a deal with D1 that they (Video Option) will be the SOLE media broadcaster for D1 events, so don't look for it on any networks anytime soon.
